Job Description:The School District of Baraboo has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant to support Teaching and Learning. This is a part-time, 20 hours per week (8 AM – 12 PM), 12 months per year position and is in the Secretarial Clerical Organization (SCO). The successful candidate will have superior customer service skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. A full job description can be found here. Compensation for this position will be a minimum of $19.50/hour and it is benefit eligible.
Desired Qualifications/Skills: We are looking for a candidate with strong organization, communication and writing skills. Must be able to assume responsibility, display initiative and adapt to rapid change. Furthermore, a working knowledge of current technology skills is required, as is the ability to handle a heavy volume of telephone and in-person contacts from students, parents, staff, and the public. Job duties for this position may include acting as a receptionist in the school office and maintaining a variety of student records.
