What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at School District of Baraboo?
The School District of Baraboo is seeking a full-time School Psychologist at Baraboo High School to start as soon as possible. Ideal candidates will be able to successfully collaborate and effectively build relationships with students, parents and staff. This position holds a 194-working day contract with benefits.
This position will serve the Baraboo High School. School Psychologists help coordinate Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) within their respective building; assess students; provide consultation with parents, teachers, administrators and community agencies; and case manage IEP team evaluations.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a current Wisconsin DPI-issued School Psychologist license (#7062). Candidates must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, have intimate knowledge of best practices within the field of response to intervention and special education (including FBA, BIP and IEP best practices). Applicants must possess a thorough knowledge in the area of student assessment, and knowledge of intervention and prevention strategies. Successful applicants will also have experience in trauma informed care strategies, AODA prevention, de-escalation strategies, individual and group counseling, and culturally responsive assessment practices. Candidates should also have experience with diverse student populations which are racially, culturally, and socioeconomically varied. Qualified candidates will collaborate in a team setting and demonstrate strong leadership skills. The capacity to interact in a positive, constructive manner with students, families, teachers and educational assistants is essential.
