What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Receptionist/Clerk position at School District of DeSoto County?
Locations: Nocatee & West Elementary Schools
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Knowledge of filing and general office procedures. Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, policies and procedures. Ability to use various office equipment. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse population including students, parents, school personnel and the community. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of telephone etiquette and operations. Possession of strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment. Analytical and organizational skills. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Ability to prioritize and balance several job functions.

Required modules include:
Child Development in the School Readiness Program
Health and Nutrition in the School Readiness Program
Safe Sleep Practices in Child Care (only required for Mustang Care at this time)
