Long-Term Substitute Custodian - Full Time
The Glenwood City School District is presently seeking a full-time, long-term substitute custodian. The initial hourly wage is set at $16.38, beginning in March 2025 and continuing for the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year. This role requires a commitment of five days per week, with an eight-hour workday. The first six to eight weeks will involve a day shift, after which the schedule will possibly transition to a second shift for the remainder of the assignment, which includes a $1 per hour shift differential for the second shift. Please note that the shift schedule may be adjusted according to the district's requirements.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in building maintenance
- Operation of lawn mower, snowplow, and Bobcat equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50# and complete repetitive cleaning tasks
- A driver's License is required
