Description
The School District of La Crosse is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Title I Reading Teacher/Academic Lead at Coulee Montessori Elementary School beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. Projected start date: August 12, 2025
This position will be serving as a Title I Reading Teacher and an Academic Lead and coach for Coulee Montessori.
This position will follow the Northside/Coulee Montessori 2025-2026 school year calendar.
Wisconsin certification 1316 (Reading Teacher) and/or 5017 (Reading Specialist) is required.
Prefer Applicants Possessing The Following Qualifications
▪ Ability to collaborate with professionals at all levels, K-12, special education, and ELL.
▪ Ability to work with sensitivity in a multicultural setting.
▪ Excellence in using developmentally appropriate practices.
▪ Conversant with current strategies for emergent readers and thematic curriculum.
▪ Knowledge of current educational literature and approaches to teaching/learning.
▪ Adaptable to changing educational settings.
▪ Ability to develop successful parent involvement activities.
