What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Girls’ Varsity Wrestling Coach position at School District of Lodi, WI?
Lodi High School is seeking a high quality and engaging varsity girls’ wrestling coach to provide leadership to our newly formed girls’ wrestling program. Candidates must be able to positively motivate student-athletes to instill commitment, discipline, and teamwork. Candidates would also work with the youth and middle school programs along with the strength and conditioning coach to build the girls’ wrestling program in Lodi.
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of wrestling
- Experience in coaching wrestling at the high school level
- Great communication skills
- The ability to work with the varsity boys’ wrestling program and athletic director to coordinate practices and meet schedules
- A strong passion to build girls’ wrestling in our district
- Willingness to work with and educate all levels of student-athletes
Preferred candidates would have experience coaching girls.
Requirements:
- Certified teaching license or willing to complete WIAA requirements for coaches not licensed to teach
- Certification in First Aid, CPE, and AED
