School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a full-time, first shift limited-term groundskeeper position to work mid-April to late October. This position remains as an on-call substitute custodian during the off-season. The goal of this position is to maintain a safe and healthful grounds environment for students, staff and general public and to initiate appropriate action to insure "curb appeal" of all grounds.
Qualifications:
- Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of turf and shrubbery.
- Ability to operate lawn equipment.
- Ability to learn athletic field layout and proper care of athletic fields.
- Self-motivated and pride oriented.
