Job description
This position is responsible for supporting and troubleshooting educational technology at the school and district level. The Network Specialist's role is to provide a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's technology environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The Network Specialist will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, Remote Access, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. Other responsibilities include; diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate manner and provide end user training and support where required. This position will also be responsible for mentoring school based techs.
Active Directory, Microsoft Windows OS, Apple OS and iOS, and general knowledge of printer support are valued experience items.
