Anticipated Teacher of Art

Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Art Teacher to join our team at Chatham Middle School for the 25-26 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching art to middle school students and will be committed to providing an engaging and enriching learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and national standards for art education
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and encourages student participation
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their artwork and help them develop their skills and techniques
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate art into other subjects and school-wide events
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in art education
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Art Education
• Experience teaching art to middle school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
• Passion for art education and a commitment to student learning and success.
