We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Community Engagement and Enrollment Specialist to strengthen relationships with local families, organizations, and stakeholders while promoting The School for Advanced Studies—Northwest Arkansas as the premier choice for education in our region. This grant funded role will directly contribute to increasing student enrollment and enriching parental engagement by implementing targeted outreach strategies, developing meaningful partnerships, and creating opportunities for families to connect with our school’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement
- Design and implement targeted community outreach strategies to build meaningful relationships with local organizations, businesses, and families, focusing on increasing awareness and enrollment at SAS NWA.
- Organize and lead dynamic community events, workshops, and school tours, highlighting the school’s unique offerings and fostering connections with prospective families and stakeholders.
- Serve as a visible and approachable liaison between the school and community, proactively addressing concerns, gathering valuable feedback, and ensuring community input shapes school initiatives.
- Cultivate partnerships with community leaders and organizations to create mutually beneficial collaborations that expand the school’s reach and strengthen its reputation.
- Develop culturally responsive engagement programs to ensure inclusivity and connect with diverse communities within Northwest Arkansas.
Marketing and Communication
- Create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, social media content, and website updates.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to promote school events, programs, and achievements.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Collaboration
- Work closely with school leadership, teachers, and staff to highlight school programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with parents, students, and community members to gather testimonials and success stories for promotional purposes.
- Build partnerships with local media outlets to enhance visibility and promote school activities.
Data Management
- Maintain a database of community contacts and partnerships, tracking engagement and participation in school events.
- Conduct surveys and gather data to assess community needs and preferences regarding school programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in community engagement, marketing, or public relations, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Bilingual is a plus!
- Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for community building.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
