Art Teacher

Position: Art Teacher

Yeshiva Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team of educators. As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite creativity and inspire our students through various art forms. We are looking for an individual who will not only bring their expertise in art, but also their passion for teaching and their commitment to nurturing the minds of our future generation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging art lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing their creativity
• Utilize a variety of art techniques and materials to enhance students' skills and knowledge in various art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
• Encourage students to explore their own ideas and artistic style through individual and group projects
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to improve their skills and confidence in art
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into other subject areas, such as History, English, and Science
• Organize and display students' artworks in the school and in local art exhibitions
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field
• Valid teaching certification
• Proven experience in teaching art to elementary or middle school students
• In-depth knowledge of various art forms, techniques, and materials
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for art and education, and a desire to inspire students
• Ability to create and implement engaging and innovative lesson plans
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support students' learning and development
