- Teach acting techniques, stagecraft, dramatic literature, improvisation, and performance skills.

- Direct and produce student performances, plays, and theatrical showcases for school and community audiences.
- Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Manage classroom practices aligned with district policies and guidelines.
- Valid California Single Subject Credential in English/Drama or eligibility to obtain credential (California offers credential reciprocity for out-of-state educators).

- Prior experience teaching drama or theatre arts to diverse student groups is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to actively engage students through instructional activities, including demonstration, directing performances, and set management.
- Effective visual and auditory capabilities necessary for classroom instruction and theatrical productions.
