Hello to our new potential Director! Thanks for looking at our job posting! We have a wonderful and loving Christian childcare center. We have been blessed to have so many wonderful families, students, and staff members join our school family over the years. We are searching for a diligent and hardworking director to lead this school. We are in NO rush to fill this position! Below is our most important list of qualifications for this position. We treasure our employees and we are looking for a Director that will be able to carry on the leadership and programs that have already been set in place while building up each person on our team!

Non-Negotiable Qualifications:

-Really loves to stay busy and considers themselves a strong and organized multi-tasker.

-Absolutely loves kids and does not mind at all being a teacher in a classroom on days where it may be needed.

-Considers a job working with children to be very rewarding and can see leading a school as their ultimate calling and career path.

-While we are willing to train the right candidate to lead the school, they absolutely must have a degree! Your degree could be in education, human services, psychology, possibly other degrees could work too. If you do not have a degree but are interested in working your way to an administrative position, we would be willing to interview you for a lead teacher. We can assist our employees in obtaining a degree and we encourage all of our strong, dependable teachers to consider applying for admin roles within our company. If you are applying for the Director position and you do not have a degree we would need to start you as a lead teacher.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Someone that has worked in a childcare center before preferably for many years as a lead teacher OR have been a director or an assistant director at a childcare center.

-Someone that is a teacher-at-heart! Someone who is familiar with all ages and is aware of their learning goals and standards and works towards inspiring teachers to challenge their students to LEARN!

-Someone that has experience leading a staff, sending newsletters, holding team meetings and mentoring teachers to excel in their roles within the classroom.

Roles of the position:

This position is crucial to the successful operation of the school. The director will lead up scheduling of staff, implementation of a challenging academic program, communication with parents, scheduling of students all while staying in compliance with state regulations. A detailed list of responsibilities will be discussed at the second level interview.

Interview process:

1. Phone interviews will be scheduled. 2.In person interview and tour of the building will be set. 3. 2nd in person interview and possible demonstration of a lesson with a group of students. 4.interview will be set with a few members of our parent committee 5. decision will be made following the 4th interview.
Pay and benefits are all something that can be negotiated after meeting with the candidate and learning about their credentials, skill set, and experience in the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $42,500.00 - $54,300.00 per year based on experience
