What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lunch Aide - Elementary School position at School Lane Charter School - Elementary/Middle?
We are accepting applications for a Lunch Aide at our elementary school. This is a part-time position - approximately 3.75 hours per day (10:35 am to 2:20 pm).
Individual is responsible for the supervision and assistance of students during lunch periods with orderly and organized recess activities. Duties include:
- Supports student activities to maintain a safe, secure, clean, and organized lunch time and, at the elementary school, safe playground recess
- Assists students with their lunches
- Monitors hall passes for bathrooms
- Monitors disputes between students
- Outdoor & Indoor recess supervision
Position Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in basic student management
- Skills in facilitation of non-competitive games
- Trained in required procedures of sanitary clean-up
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent dependability and reliability
Applicants who do not yet have their PA teaching certificate may upload the official College Verification of Eligibility Letter, which states you have successfully completed the program and are eligible for certification in lieu of the PA teaching certification document.
