What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Handler/Caretaker- MUST LOVE DOGS! position at School of Bark?
Requirements:
Currently looking for 2 part time or 1 full time employee. Must be dependable, flexible, able to multitask, work in a fast paced facility and has a passion for our four legged friends. Must be at least 18 years of age and have reliable transportation. Prior experience with dogs is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Hours would include but not limited to, Monday- Friday 6:00am-12pm and 1pm- 6:30pm. (This is a split shift) Weekends and Holidays are mandatory but they are only 3 hour shifts.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Supervising group play, picking up after dogs, cleaning, work as a team player, must be self motivated, ability to stand for long periods of time, not afraid to learn/use power equipment, observing dog behavior/body language, love all dogs of different breeds and sizes, and pay attention to detail. This job requires a fair amount of physical activity, and is an all-weather job, indoors and outdoors.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
