About the Role
As the Social Media & Content Manager, you will drive the growth of both the School of Self-Image and Tonya Leigh brands by creating and executing impactful growth-focused social media strategies. Our ideal candidate is passionate about crafting both written and visual content that converts and thrives on building an engaged community. You have a robust portfolio of content, including graphic design and social media campaigns, and have already helped brands scale their social media presences and engagement.
This is a role for a hyper-organized, proactive and enthusiastic professional who will work well individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume company with competing priorities and deadlines. This is a remote position, but we will be prioritizing candidates located in Charlotte, NC or easily available to travel, in order to create social content in person with our founder.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with growth and engagement goals.
- Use video, including reels, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and increase followers.
- Establish and build the SOSI brand independently from Tonya Leigh on platforms like Instagram and YouTube.
- Assist in creating workflows and systems for efficient social media and overall content management.
- Design, schedule, and publish content across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Plan and manage promotional calendars, launches, and paid/organic campaigns.
- Grow and optimize affiliate marketing campaigns.
- Oversee content creation for newsletters, podcasts, ads, launches, sales pages, and slide decks.
- Own the brand look, feel and voice, and help create systems and collaborate with the team to keep all content in alignment with brand guidelines as it evolves.
- Stay updated on social media trends and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Support in-person content creation in Charlotte, NC with the Founder, Tonya.

Skills and Experience
- Social media marketing experience (preferably 3 years) with a proven track record of growing accounts.
- Video editing skills.
- Proficiency in Canva and InDesign or Photoshop.
- Proven expertise creating fresh ideas for new content that establishes or supports a company's brand identity.
- Knowledge of influencer marketing (coaching industry big plus).
- Knowledge of paid social media advertising
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills and a portfolio of short and long form content (emails, newsletters, blog posts, landing pages, social posts, captions/descriptions, etc.)
- Ability to deliver creative content. Must have an eye for visual style and branding and excellent graphic design skills (Canva or other)
- Advanced project management skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, very organized and capable of relentless prioritization
- BA or BS degree in English, marketing, communications or related field preferred
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $55,000–$70,000 (based on experience)
