JOB BRIEF
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Partnership Manager to lead and grow our affiliate marketing program, manage paid sponsorships for online events, oversee advertising packages in our online magazine, and manage third-party offers. In this role, you will develop and manage relationships with affiliates, sponsors partnerships, and advertising partners, optimize campaigns, and ensure all partnership activities align with our broader marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and partnership management tools, along with an understanding and passion for homesteading and traditional skills with some life application, as you will be working directly with many knowledgeable and passionate people in our space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage comprehensive relationships across affiliates, partners, potential Summit sponsors, and online magazine advertising clients, developing strategic approaches to maximize engagement, performance, and revenue potential.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across all partnership channels, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
  • In collaboration with the finance team, ensure timely and accurate tracking and reporting of affiliate commissions, processing of sponsorship payments, and invoicing for advertising packages.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align affiliate campaigns, online event sponsorship opportunities, and magazine advertising strategies.
  • Develop promotional materials and provide partners with resources needed to succeed, including affiliate marketing collateral, Summit sponsorship decks, and advertising rate cards and media kits.
  • Stay updated on affiliate marketing trends, sponsorship opportunities, and digital advertising market developments.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across all channels.
  • Handle conflict resolution and address inquiries from affiliates, sponsors, and advertisers promptly and professionally.
  • Demonstrates 5 years of proven experience in affiliate management, sponsorship sales, and digital advertising sales, with a comprehensive understanding of marketing strategies, tools, and platforms across these domains.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills with proficiency in performance tracking, reporting tools, sales pipeline management, and ROI analysis.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple complex partnerships simultaneously.
  • Brings familiarity with the education or sustainability sectors, complemented by a basic understanding of SEO, PPC, digital marketing principles, event marketing, sponsorship dynamics, and the digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Demonstrates understanding and passion for homesteading and traditional skills with practical experience, as this role requires regular interaction with subject matter experts in these areas.
