This position is scheduled for Saturdays/Sundays from 1:30pm-8:30pm.
Pay starting at $17/hour based on experience.
SUMMARY:
This School Sisters of St. Francis is looking for a responsible employee to drive and safely operate a van/bus for up to 11 passengers; providing transportation for elder adults in a safe and courteous manner, to locations primarily throughout the Milwaukee area. Trips outside of the Milwaukee area may be required. Primary activities include a shuttle service to/from residences and other locations in the city, as well as to scheduled events or activities. These transportation services are planned and provided by SSSF administrators, directors, activity personnel and transportation supervisors with great care and concern for SSSF elder members who value their independence and want to continue to participate in the variety of activities offered by the broader community. All School Sisters Transportation Services are directed by and within the philosophy and mission of the School Sisters of St. Francis.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 24 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and not less than one year driving experience as a licensed driver.
- Related transportation experience in a resident care setting preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Certification required (training assistance can be provided).
- Active and valid Class D WI driver’s license is required, with a Motor Vehicle Dept. Report of a driving record clear of revocations, suspensions and cancellations in the past five years (a record which meets the SSSF insurance requirement).
- Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English.
- Experience providing elder care preferred.
