SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDER VACANCY

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - DISTRICT WIDE

SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE HIRED ON A YEAR ONLY CONTRACT - CONTRACT RENEWAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL

THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A ONE TIME SIGNING BONUS OF $2,500 PAYABLE ON DECEMBER 15, 2024 AND

A RETENTION BONUS OF $2,500 AFTER THREE YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT PAYABLE ON JUNE 15, 2027

New Teacher / Licensed Staff Orientation :

New Licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24 & 25, 2024

Experience :

District 49 credits each year of verified full-time / full-year relevant experience up to 20 years.

Work Schedule :

182 contracted work days - Prorated based on start date

Salary :

The minimum salary for Occupational Therapist is $64,356 / yr

  • and the maximum salary is $82,176 / yr.
  • Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).
  • Prorated based on start date

Interviews are site-based and not conducted by the Human Resources office.

Qualifications and Expectations :

  • BA / BS required, MA / MS preferred from accredited college or university
  • Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment : 5-21 or 0-21 Occupational Therapist
