What We're Looking For...
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager who will take full ownership of an entire product line-from opportunity identification and assessment, to prioritization and launch execution. In this role, you will drive product vision and strategy by harnessing systems that enable rapid, high-quality decision-making. You will integrate the voice of the customer with a broad set of data-driven inputs, ensuring that every decision not only reflects market opportunities but also preemptively addresses risks and unknowns. As the leader of cross-functional squads, you will balance collaboration with decisive authority to push innovative products to market at speed.
This specific role will be responsible for building a brand new AI analytics product for school and district administrators. You'll be expected to explore, define a wide opportunity space. You'll need to be able to able take your learnings and define them into a new product line.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate new product opportunities in the market by gathering and synthesizing diverse inputs.
Own the entire lifecycle of your product line, from ideation and customer discovery to development and launch.
Facilitate and make fast, high-quality decisions using just-in-time definitions and work decomposition.
Lead cross-functional squads-including engineers, designers, and other key stakeholders-ensuring every team member's voice is heard.
Gather, synthesize, and quantify customer feedback from across the organization, using it as one critical lens among many.
Define, monitor, and analyze key product metrics, with a focus on retention, engagement, and revenue attribution.
Develop comprehensive launch plans for major, minor, or soft product launches.
Build and refine mental models and diagnostic frameworks that empower teams to make a series of high-quality decisions quickly.
Qualifications
A minimum of 6-7 years of product management or other highly relevant work experience with a demonstrable track record of owning full product lines rather than isolated features.
You should be a systems thinker that's passionate about creating creative, scalable, systems.
Expertise in using various prioritization frameworks (such as Kano, RICE, dollar voting, etc.) and decision-making models to assess risk and decompose work just in time.
Proven experience in leading and inspiring cross-functional squads, while confidently exercising decision authority.
Deep understanding of the customer discovery process and the ability to balance customer feedback with market and business priorities.
Comfort with ambiguity and a proven ability to pivot quickly in response to new information and market shifts.
A systems thinker who champions permissionless and accountable decision-making, building mental models that support rapid, high-quality decisions.
