Job Summary
The Manager of Peer Support Programs is responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of peer support programs and services within the Learning Support Services department. This position reports to the Director of Learning Support Services.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field as required.
  • Five (5) years of experience working with students.
  • Experience managing/supervising others.
  • Effective communicator (oral and written).
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in Education or related field.

  • Writing Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Office Environment: This role may involve being in a stationary position in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse (or applicable equipment) and telephone. Communicating and exchanging information with individuals electronically or in person. This role may involve moving objects of up to 10 lbs., and on occasion, up to 25 lbs.
  • Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This also includes management of student employees and student fellows in tutoring, writing support, the PAL Program, International Learning Support, and at the Bradner Library.
