Job Summary
Schoolcraft College is seeking a dynamic and dependable On-Call PPL Office Staff member to support our Operations Team. This role is integral to ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk, assisting students with inquiries, and supporting various administrative tasks.
Job Duties
- Answer phones, check and respond to voicemails, and manage email correspondence to assist students with questions and concerns.
- Greet students and visitors at the front desk.
- Distribute PPL schedule books and other marketing materials across campus.
- Handle deliveries to different areas on campus.
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Follow up with PPL instructors and students regarding registration and class needs.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the front desk Operations Team under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient skill in using Microsoft Office Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Proficient skill in typing, data entry and email.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague and reporting software programs.
- Experience working in higher education or within an office setting.
