Job Summary
The Risk Management Coordinator performs the essential functions within Risk Management to support the daily initiatives of the department. This includes providing backup and support to the Director of Risk Management.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with strong clerical abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and learn new skills.
This support role involves document development, review, and management for reports, agreements, and contracts. This includes the filing and maintenance of records, claims, paperwork and forms. Experience using Microsoft 365 applications is preferred.

Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business or a related area.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a support position.
- Experience with electronic data management (using databases).
- Attention to detail with strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Clerical skills for report writing, processing/filing insurance claims and other paperwork and forms, etc.
- Experience with document development, tracking and management, including proofreading and editing skills.
- Experience with supporting an administrator.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability/desire to learn new things, such as contract processing, FOIA, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area.
- Two (2) years of experience in policy and/or procedure creation.
- Experience or training in FOIA compliance.
- Background in contract analysis.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
