Job Description

We are looking for a talented Autism Specialist to join our team for the school year.

We currently have (2) part-time positions available. One position will be in the Salem, Oregon area and the other position in North Marion County.

Responsibilities would include :

Conduct thorough evaluations of students for autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
Administer and interpret standardized diagnostic tools and assessments such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R).
Evaluate developmental history, social skills, communication abilities, and behavioral patterns.

Required Qualifications :

Graduate degree in psychology, special education, speech-language pathology, or a related field.

Specialized training in autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Licensure or certification in psychology, counseling, or special education, as required by jurisdiction. Certifications such as the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) are highly desirable.

Proven experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disorders.

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and assessment instruments specific to autism.
