Intervention Specialists (3)- ESY (Summer School)

We are looking for a talented Intervention Specialist for summer school.

We are currently hiring (3) Intervention Specialists for summer school. The position will run from June 9th- July 11th (no school on June 19th or July 4th). School will run from 8:30am-11:30am. There are three different age groups available: PK, K-2, and 3rd-6th grade.

Responsibilities would include:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support students with disabilities.
• Provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings.
• Adapt lesson plans, curriculum, and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and IDEA regulations.
• Implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies to promote student engagement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
• Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive).
• Experience with IEP development and implementation.
• Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
