What are the responsibilities and job description for the SLP position at Schoolforce Solutions Inc?
We are looking for 5 talented Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to join our team for the 25-26 school year.
Ages of kiddos served: K-5 and 6th-12th
Hourly Rate Range: $51.00-$65.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, communication, and social needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that reflect each student's unique goals.
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual, group, and classroom settings.
- Address challenges related to articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic (social) communication.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and IDEA compliance standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and student progress reviews.
- Provide education and consultative support to staff and families to help reinforce communication strategies across environments
Required Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Washington State Department of Health (DOH) SLP License.
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate from Washington OSPI.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
