We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for SY 24-25. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs by fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Provide direct instruction in small group or one-on-one settings based on students needs.
- Conduct assessments to measure student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and federal / state special education regulations.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings.
