Position Details

Specialty : Special Education Teacher

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential

Must have Education Specialist Instruction Credential : Extensive Support Needs, Mild to Moderate Support Needs, Moderate / Severe Disabilities, Early Childhood Special Education | or Education Specialist Bridge Document : Mild to Moderate Support Needs, Extensive Support Needs, Early Childhood

Duties and Responsibilities :

Develop and implement IEPs for students with diverse learning needs.

Provide direct instruction and support to students in both individual and group settings.

Modify and adapt curricula to accommodate students' needs and learning styles.

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.

Utilize evidence-based instructional practices to engage students and promote growth.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Paid Holidays

6 Paid holidays : Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day and Memorial Day.

Material Reimbursement

Reimbursement of $250.00 for any supplies purchased for your classroom

Professional Development

We offer a reimbursement of $500.00 towards professional development this can include : CEU’s, licensing fees, etc

Housing : Generous housing stipend.

Insurance Coverage : Premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance starting on day one and continued insurance coverage over the summer if qualified.
