Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location : Painesville, OH
Job Type : Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for SY 24-25. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by working in a diverse educational setting.
The SLP will provide services to approximately :
20 Pre K students
3-4 High School students
2-3 homebound students
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students speech and language abilities.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the patient's communication development.
Educate families on strategies to enhance communication skills at home.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Must have a valid Ohio Department of Education license in Speech / Language Pathology and / or valid Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology License
Experience working in school settings is a plus.
Proficient in providing patient care with a focus on pediatric populations.
