Occupational Therapists (OTs)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services for a K-8 caseload of approximately 35 students for the remainder of the school year. This role is a school-based position requiring collaboration with educators, staff, and families to support students' development and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in a K-8 setting.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Implement IEP-driven interventions to support students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy into the learning environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Support students in developing self-care, motor coordination, and adaptive skills to enhance academic performance.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-8 setting.
• Knowledge of IEPs, special education processes, and evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
