Special Education Teacher – Immediate Hire (Cincinnati, OH 45229)
Full-Time | School-Based | Grades: K–8
We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in Cincinnati, OH (45229) for the remainder of the 2024–2025 school year. This role begins ASAP and runs through the end of the current academic year.
Position Highlights- Caseload: Approximately 20 students
- Support Model: Combination of push-in and pull-out services
- Focus Areas:
- Reading fluency and comprehension
- Foundational math skills
- Most Common Disabilities:
- Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)
- Developmental Delay (DD)
- Collaborative Environment: Partner closely with general education teachers and support staff
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (or eligibility)
- Experience supporting students in a K–8 setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to provide targeted academic interventions and data-driven instruction
- Supportive school leadership and a dedicated team
