About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate Special Education Resource Teacher to join a supportive school community committed to empowering students in grades 5 through 8. This role focuses on delivering individualized education services to a Resource Caseload of approximately 25–30 students. Students on the caseload primarily require mild-to-moderate interventions, with an emphasis on academic support, executive functioning skills, and social-emotional growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a 4-day instructional week, allowing for a better work-life balance while maintaining a strong focus on student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide targeted instruction and support to students identified for Resource services.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure student success.
- Utilize data-driven strategies to adjust instruction based on student progress.
- Maintain detailed records of student growth, interventions, and communications.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-minded classroom environment.
- Participate in monthly professional development and team collaboration activities.
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Experience working with middle school students in a resource or pull-out setting is highly preferred.
- Strong skills in differentiation, behavior management, and executive functioning supports.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- 4-Day School Week (Monday–Thursday, 9-hour instructional days).
