Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create student support plans.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations.
- Respond to student crises with immediate intervention.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies.
- Stay up to date with best practices in school psychology.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid Nevada School Psychologist License (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a K-12 school setting.
- Proficiency in psychological assessments and intervention strategies.
- Experience working with students with learning disabilities and behavioral challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Nevada education regulations and IEP processes.
- Weekly pay (for contract assignments).
