Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet student needs.
- Provide direct instruction and classroom support to students with learning disabilities.
- Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion.
- Maintain clear communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, counselors, administrators).
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Valid Missouri teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement.
- Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students succeed in an inclusive environment.
- Pay: $35 - $55 per hour (based on experience).
