What You’ll Be Doing
Delivers a seamless user (Member) experience in our digital channels, ensuring they're easy to use and understand, can help Members manage their finances, make them feel their information is safe and secure, and are tailored to their needs.
- Serves as “the voice of the Member” for experience in Online and Mobile Banking.
- Works with marketing, product management and development to create digital solutions.
- Sets and documents the vision for Member experience, serving as the Members’ advocate to ensure the highest level of usefulness, desirability and satisfaction.
- Develops workflows, wireframes, user stories, and user journeys.
- Recognizes patterns and trends from various inputs to identify Member/UX experience pain points.
- Facilitates service listening sessions with frontline and support teams to understand and solve Member pain points.
- Maintains accessibility standards and procedures, and facilitates training for developers, testers, content creators and executives.
- Develops the communication strategy for introducing new features to Members.
- Partners with branches and the Member Contact Center on how to prepare the team for new features.
- Creates and manages timelines and schedules to ensure on-time delivery, despite obstacles.
- Works with stakeholders and compliance to gain approval of designs and content.
- Translate concepts and wireframes into mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Identifies design problems and devise elegant solutions.
- Makes strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
- Maintains and disseminates design system and standards to ensure high quality and consistency.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required
- 3-5 years of previous UI/UX experience required
- License/Certifications - Certification in user experience preferred
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Axure, Figma, etc.
- Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
- Able to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
- Expertise in web accessibility and deep knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Able to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
- Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and Adobe Photoshop
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Knowledge of web content and development processes, best practices, and emerging trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Capacity to find creative, innovative solutions for simple or complex problems
