Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our operations, including planning, design and development, maintenance and repair, integrated management for safety and environmental protection, and supervisory duties.
Responsibilities
- Planning: Develop project estimates, cost reports, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
- Design and Development: Analyze needs, modify existing designs, recommend improved production techniques, and develop test procedures.
- Maintenance and Repair: Support continuous maintenance of hot melting, forming, and annealing equipment by specifying and purchasing replacement parts, platinum and refractory materials, and services.
- Integrated Management for Safety and Environmental Protection: Comply with all rules and predictions of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Protection System.
- Supervisory Duties: Supervise, lead, support, and motivate employees in designated areas.
Qualifications
- ASME certification.
- At least 5 years of experience in equipment design for glass melting and annealing, platinum and refractory design and construction.
- Strong knowledge of Platinum Group Metals, Glass Refractories, CAD, MAXIMO, PRINCESS, Accounting, TWI, Leadership, English, MS Office.
