Duties
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete repair tasks in a timely manner
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when working with equipment
Experience
- Previous experience as a heavy equipment technician or in a similar role preferred
- Five (5) plus years experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics, air brakes, and electrical systems
- Ability to align, repair, and maintain various types of equipment
- The understanding of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and procedures
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify equipment issues
