Equipment Technician

Summary

As an Equipment Technician, you will be a vital team member responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. With core skills in diesel diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance, you will excel in diagnosing and fixing issues related to brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Duties

-Perform equipment repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned

-Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues

-Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order

-Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed

-Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete repair tasks in a timely manner

-Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when working with equipment

Experience

-Previous experience as a heavy equipment technician or in a similar role preferred

-Five (5) plus years

-Knowledge of hydraulics, air brakes, and electrical systems

-Ability to align, repair, and maintain various types of equipment

-The understanding of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and procedures

-Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify equipment issues

-Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
