Schrödinger seeks a Director of Ventures to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

As a member of our Business Development and Finance team, you’ll play a critical role in growing and refining our ventures pipeline, entering into new ventures and managing our existing venture positions. In collaboration with R&D encompassing both therapeutics and materials science, Finance, Legal, Corporate Communication and Investor Relations, you’ll navigate complicated deal structures to broaden the aperture of our partnering universe, expanding beyond traditional pharma and other larger partners. This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Strategic Finance and Head of Corporate and Business Development.

Estimated base salary range: $225,000 - $300,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs. - Manage existing assets, including equity monetization, capital deployment into financing rounds, and royalty monetization
- At least 10 years of venture capital experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- An MBA or equivalent business background
