What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Parts Puller/Float Driver position at Schram Auto & Truck Parts, Inc.?
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing team. Schram Auto & Truck Parts is a family owned and operated automotive salvage yard that has been in the business of selling new and used auto parts for 100 years. The person we are looking for is warehouse parts puller who can also fill in as a delivery driver. Someone who can learn all aspects of the job.
Warehouse work; pulling parts, cleaning parts, quality controlling parts, staging parts, cleaning work areas.
Freight and fed-ex; boxing small parts, printing labels, sending return tags, boxing and pelleting large items for freight typing a manifest and shipping documents.
Yard work; cleaning outside, putting parts away pulling parts that are located outside.
Delivery driver; loading parts off a loading screen, securing load, making a delivery manifest, deliver and picking up return parts, collecting monies due (all routing is automated).
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm - no weekends
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to possess a valid chauffeurs license
- Ability to drive a delivery truck (U-Haul style truck)
- Federal DOT medical card (no use of cannabis/marijuana allowed under federal guidelines)
- Able to operate hi lo and small equipment
- Operate a smart phone
- Reliable - punctual attendance
- Knowledge of auto parts is ideal
- Kowledge of computers is ideal, most of the work is done thru a smart phone
- Great attitude - work well with others
