What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development?
Schreiber Pediatric’s Speech-Language Therapy Department believes that every child deserves a voice. Schreiber's SLPs provide comprehensive speech-language therapy for kids with a range of needs. Our pediatric therapists specialize in speech-language delays, articulation and hearing loss, fluency disorders, voice disorders and feeding and/or swallowing difficulties.
SUMMARY: Provides evaluation and treatment services for children from birth to 21 years, with speech-language, hearing, and other communication delays or disorders. Experience in related oral-motor and feeding disorders is a huge plus.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Master of Science/Arts Degree from an approved program of Communication Disorders/ Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent as per Pennsylvania license requirements.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Also must have Certificate of Clinical Competence from A.S.H.A., or eligible (Clinical Fellowship Year).
