SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with marketing efforts and the promotion of Meaningful Work events. This position involves researching and planning themes, subjects, and concepts that support the development of career opportunities for students at Schreiner University. Students will use their graphic design and marketing skills to support the vision of Meaningful Work and career development. Additionally, students will maintain positive working relationships, make decisions and solve problems while exhibiting flexibility, a willingness to learn, and an ability to adapt to change.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Answering and directing calls
- Greeting and escorting visitors and students
- Scanning and filing paperwork
- Entering information into databases
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Assisting with projects and events
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED EXPECTATIONS
- Representing the career center: Representing the mission and values of the career center and Schreiner University
- Helping students: Guiding students and alumni to career center resources and assisting with student requests
- Marketing: Creating flyers and social media posts for workshops and marketing events
- Supporting staff: Providing support to faculty and staff
- Maintaining confidentiality: Maintaining confidentiality and supporting university policies
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Be enrolled as full-time student at Schreiner University.
- Experience using marketing and graphic design concepts
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stress
