Duties and Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Welder to set up and operate metal inert gas welder (MIG), drilling machine, and robotic welding system using appropriate jigs fixtures, etc. according to manufacturing specifications.

· Sets up and operates metal inert gas welder (MIG), drilling machine, and robotic welder using jigs, fixtures and welding manufacturing specifications; must be able to program robotic welding system per manufacturer’s instructions.
· Performs TIG welding and hand brazing, as well as occasional stick welding.
· Performs aluminum welding.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Works overtime as required.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required or work–equivalent job experience.
- Minimum of six months’ experience in welding is preferred; industry recognized welding training and/or certification a plus.
- Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Operate an overhead crane.
- Knowledge of ERP software.
