YOUR ROLE AS A PACKERS AND MOVERS

At Schroeder Moving Systems, our Full-Time Packers and Movers play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, which is our number one goal. As a mover, you'll assist the driver in efficiently and safely handling household and commercial goods. Your responsibilities will include packing, loading, delivering, and participating in commercial relocations, ensuring that each item is wrapped and secured properly to prevent damage during transit. While prior experience is preferred, our comprehensive training program is designed to help newcomers thrive in the moving industry.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

To thrive as a Full-Time Packer and Mover at Schroeder Moving Systems, you will need a blend of essential skills and physical capabilities. Strong communication skills are vital, enabling you to interact effectively with both co-workers and customers in English. You should be a good listener, able to follow instructions for optimal customer service.

Problem-solving abilities are crucial as you'll constantly seek the best solutions in everyday scenarios. Physical stamina is required, as you will regularly lift and move objects ranging from 10-50 lbs., and occasionally over 100 lbs. The role demands physical agility, including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and even climbing.

Additionally, you must be adaptable to varying temperatures throughout the seasons. Finally, adherence to Uni-group agency compliance guidelines is essential, and all prospective employees must pass a background check and drug testing upon hiring and during their tenure.
