Woodworking Machine Operator

Schroll Cabinets Inc. is a leading manufacturer of custom cabinetry in the Rocky Mountain Region serving both the commercial and residential construction industry. We are seeking passionate, self-motivated individuals to join our team.

Operator will be trained and responsible for the safe, efficient and quality operation of multiple cabinet part manufacturing machines. Experience with woodworking machines or similar manufacturing machines is preferred along with an ability to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Machine operators pay scale is based off experience and prior cabinet manufacturing knowledge.

Skills and Specifications:

Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time and be physically fit enough to perform continuous reaching, bending and stooping, as well as lift and carry 50 lbs. without assistance. Must be capable of working in a team environment where producing high - volume, high - quality output is the key. A good attitude, ability to learn quickly, follow instructions and a strong work ethic will go a long way in this company. Basic computer skills a plus.

Duties:

-Load feed mechanism by lifting sheet goods into position to process high quality parts

-Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions

-Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces

-Maintain safe operations by following safety protocols

-Maintain continuity among work shifts

-Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for work accomplished

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
