Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides leadership to the build team that is in alignment with company vision, mission, and values
- Cultivates the personal, spiritual, financial, and professional growth of employees through open communication and
- Collaborates with the service and sales managers to identify and resolve recurring issues
- Utilizes multiple technology systems to maintain accurate information that drives data-based decisions
- Monitors daily construction of homes in all phases and is accountable for the construction schedule
- Trains the build team in scheduling and phase management
- Leads weekly team meetings and encourages positive team interactions
- Recruits trades and develops relationships with new and current trades
- Works with regional management team to set yearly goals
- Identifies and makes recommendations on performance and systems improvement processes
- Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite
- Assists the general manager in monitoring community appearance
- Identifies the training and development needs of the team
- In conjunction with the human resources department, recruits and hires new employees
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
- Two (2) years of experience in building industry strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong strategic and time management skills
- Ability to learn new software and utilize company HB1 system
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle
- Works in both temperature and non-temperature-controlled environments, with medium to high noise levels
- Frequently required to walk, stand, lift, pull, and push objects up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally required to climb and sit; rarely in cramped/confined workspaces
