Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is the first line of support for all levels of the organization and will help establish processes and execution plans for strategic HR initiatives aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides HR support to all departments within the company to achieve business priorities and human resources strategies
- Establishes, updates, and deploys processes around recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training and development, and employee retention
- Promotes, implements, and communicates activities regarding policies, regulations, and standards related to occupational issues for hourly and salaried staff
- Supports people managers in guiding their teams to achieve established business objectives through successful people management
- Effectively communicates with employees on relevant topics regarding HR processes, organizational changes, etc.
- Facilitates recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of a high-performing and talented workforce at all levels of the organization
- Participates in the research, selection, and implementation of HR related technologies
- Supports the HR function with additional projects as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- SPHR/PHR designation desirable, not required
- Knowledge of labor legislation, particularly Missouri and Arkansas
- Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to build long-term relationships and effectively communicate with individuals across the company
- English fluent, Spanish language skills desirable
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with low noise levels
- Prolonged periods of sitting required
- Occasionally required to walk, stand, lift, climb, pull, or push objects weighing up to 15 pounds
