We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Event Planning Manager to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Manage all logistical aspects of social and wedding catering, including timeline creation, vendor coordination, and staff management
- Work one-on-one with clients and wedding couples to understand their vision and preferences, providing expert guidance and recommendations
- Conduct detailed walkthroughs and tastings to ensure every detail is executed flawlessly
- Anticipate and exceed guest expectations, ensuring an exceptional dining experience
- Collaborate with our culinary team to execute
- Coordinate with external vendors, such as wedding planners, coordinators, and venue staff
- Manage wedding day setup, execution, and breakdown
- Ensure seamless communication with wedding couples, vendors, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and timelines
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Participate in rotating manager on-duty weekends throughout the year
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in wedding planning, catering, event planning, or a related field
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Delphi or equivalent software
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple events simultaneously
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail, with a focus on quality and excellence
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to think ahead, anticipate needs, and take initiative
- Polite, friendly, and professional demeanor, with a warm and approachable personality
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and evenings as needed
Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000
