Collegiate Hotel Group® is seeking a Banquet Server/Set-Up Attendant to join Graduate Cincinnati by Hilton and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides exceptional Guest Service
- Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed
- Prepare room for events: set table cloths, dishes, silverware as needed
- Assist in cleaning and organizing at the completion of an event
- Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure
- Serve guests food and drinks during event as required
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests
- Follow directions as detailed from Banquet Captain, Lead Server or Banquet Manager
- Set-up, clean and maintain meeting and banquet rooms following operational standards
- Responsible for accurate cleaning and setting of banquet functions and meeting rooms
- Care and storage of all equipment such as tables and chairs
- Servicing meeting rooms
- Work closely with Banquet Servers to provide exceptional service
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma/GED
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Able to work flexible hours and shifts
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task
