JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and speak with our guests in a professional, friendly manner.
- Follow established serving guidelines.
- Deliver food that is attractively presented, smells good and is at the correct temperature. If the food does not meet these criteria, follow established procedures for returning it to the kitchen staff.
- Clear dirty dishes from dining areas and hallways as soon as possible following established procedures.
- Maintain orderly, clean and safe work area, dining and storage facilities.
- Properly refresh tables with condiments and any other items as needed.
- Ensure dining areas/surfaces are clean and inviting at all times.
- Follow established safety procedures, use of personal protective equipment and sharps policies.
- Provides assistance to other departments of the hotel to contribute to its smooth operation.
- Maintains a clean, pleasant, and professional image to guests and associates.
- Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Team player
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests
- Knowledge of cleanliness standards
